Nils Marange
Nils Marange is a French author of science fiction, fantasy and fantastic fiction. His stories explore the friction between the human body, technical systems, memory, work, desire and the choices delegated to machines.
He is less interested in technology as spectacle than in what it does to people once it enters ordinary gestures, relationships, infrastructures and decisions.
La Bibliothèque du Futur is his wider publishing home. It also houses historical and human fiction by Marc Agine, techno satire by Arthur Glitch and the earlier Flynn archives.

The Gravel in the Gears
Machines are not weightless.
Brut-Punk is a literary framework developed in the earlier Flynn archives. It keeps the physical cost of technical systems visible: bodies, tools, maintenance, infrastructure and the decisions hidden behind clean interfaces.
Nils Marange’s current work is broader than Brut-Punk, but it often returns to the same question: what remains when abstraction finally meets a body?
